Marriage Ceremony & Venue Package

 

If you're looking for somewhere a little different for your wedding day, you may want to consider getting married at my home, in the peaceful and beautiful Ohariu Valley - the equestrian centre of Wellington.

This could be the perfect answer for those looking to have an intimate wedding ceremony.  Numbers are limited to a maximum of 20 people for either a personalised wedding, a registry wedding, a renewal of  vows, or an elopement. 

​

I'm only 6 km from Johnsonville, and a 20-25 minute drive from the centre of Wellington city.  You can have your ceremony on the lawn overlooking the picturesque countryside or we can find some other sheltered spot or inside if too wet and/or wild and windy. 

​

For a personalised wedding ceremony, I'm available any day of the week, including weekends.  Together we'll create a ceremony using your words, and sharing your love story with your guests.  I'll help you express your love to each other when writing your Vows.  You're welcome to bring a bottle of bubbles and canapes to share with your guests after your ceremony to celebrate your marriage. I'll provide the glasses and ice.  Then you and your guests head off for your 'reception lunch or dinner' at a venue of your choice.

COUNTRY WEDDING VENUE & CEREMONY PACKAGE

For a packaged personalised wedding that includes creating your ceremony and the use of my home - my fees start at $500 to create a personalised ceremony and an additional fee for the use of my home for up to 2.5 hours any day of the week.  Depending on timing and other factors, we can discuss and agree a fee.  With regards to your ceremony script, you can make changes to the word and we'll include a few personal stories about you both, share your love story, I'll help you write your vows, and we'll include the magical moment where you say, “I Do” and me inviting you to “seal your marriage with a kiss” along with some beautiful music to set the scene.  These moments defines a personalised ceremony. If you want access to my home for a little longer then we can work something out.  If you want a rehearsal, then there will be another small charge.  Do it once - do it perfectly.

COUNTRY REGISTRY WEDDING

For registry weddings at my home I'm available weekdays only (except if a public holiday) between 9.00 am - 6.00 pm.  The fee is set at $90 for a Registry wedding by DIA (Internal Affairs) so we can't change this.  To find out more about Registry weddings go to:  Registry Ceremony Guide for Couples.  

 

And of course I can marry you wherever you choose - on a beach, in a restaurant or at your home for either a registry or personalised wedding.
