Marriage Celebrant Services
What I can offer you
As your wedding celebrant, it's important that we are all clear about what you want included on your special day. This can make for some great questions and some equally surprising answers.
It's a big deal getting married - let's work together to create a ceremony that is a perfect blend of dignity, good humour, warmth, and one that is full of love. Your ceremony , your words, your style and a day that is memorable for you and your guests.
It would be an absolute privilege and an honour to work with you both and legally pronounce you 'married' or whatever words you choose.

The Process and Next Steps
Finding the right wedding celebrant is important, so first up, please contact me to arrange a convenient time for an initial free, no obligation chat, ideally at my place in Ohariu Valley.
If you're offshore email me and we'll arrange to 'meet up' through ZOOM.
Once we've had our first meeting and you decide I'm the right celebrant for you, you need to book me. I'll send you my booking form to complete and you pay a non-refundable NZ$200 deposit to secure my services for your date.
I only take one wedding booking a weekend so you can feel relaxed as you will have my undivided attention - your actual wedding ceremony, the legal bit, the reason you and your guests are gathered - this will be the least stressful part of your day.
My commitment to you is that at the end of the day you and your guests will still be smiling knowing your ceremony was exactly as you wanted and absolutely memorable.
My wedding services and fees vary depending on what you're looking to include in your ceremony. Let's meet up to work through the process which will determine my fees, but options available include:
A second meeting-ideally with both of you to discuss the legal requirements and get an understanding of what you'd like included in your wedding ceremony.
Together we'll explore who you want involved (family and/or friends) and the stories to be shared on the day and how best to utilise your chosen venue.
I'm available for weddings Monday to Thursday but I only take one booking over a weekend (Friday - Sunday).
Additional meetings or emails to gather information about you that captures the essence of you both, your culture, your style, your special words.
I'll then write a personalised wedding ceremony (draft at this stage) that reflects who you are as individuals and as a couple.
I'll email this draft to you both for you to review and amend and we'll make edits along the way to ensure you're both happy with every word that will be spoken in your ceremony.
No words will be spoken without your approval.
Your ceremony will be a reflection of who you are, your love story and your commitment for and to each other - declared aloud in front of your dearest friends and family.
As your celebrant I'll ensure it's delivered in a warm, friendly, relaxed and professional way that reflects your style. And we will capture some of those funny moments that life has thrown your way.
Rehearsal - I absolutely recommend this a day or two out from the wedding date and at the venue.
You say your vows (which I've helped you write), including the legal statements, we all sign the dotted line and I declare you 'married' or 'hitched' or whatever you like.
I can help with sourcing a venue, think beautiful gardens, beaches, city rooftops, vineyards, restaurants or even at your home or mine.
Regardless of the ceremony you choose, my professional commitment to you is:
On the day I'm yours - I only take one wedding booking a weekend.
I'll be there early to help with any last minute concerns to ensure the day runs smoothly.
I'll guide you through all the legal requirements.
I will dress appropriately to reflect your dress code.
But first things first - get in touch with me to arrange a time and date to meet. We can then discuss how I can make your wedding ceremony personal to you both and what it will cost you.
