Being a celebrant is a fabulous job and as it's an honour and a privilege to work with people creating a unique ceremony. 

  

I'm a Wellingtonian, (born and raised in Hawkes' Bay) and married to Michael for more than 40 years.  We have two wonderful adult children and three gorgeous grandchildren.

I'd love to create an intimate  petite wedding ceremony for you both as I love meeting people from all walks of life and different cultures.  I enjoy hearing your love story, so I can create a short yet beautiful ceremony for you.  Everyone is different so I'll make sure your ceremony is as unique as you two.  I'll ensure the words spoken reflect who you are as a couple, as individuals and as a family. 

 

I've made a life decision and this year - 2024, I'm only providing my celebrant services at my home, sorry but you have to come to me and I'll marry you both at my lovely home in Ohariu Valley.  If you want to get married somewhere else, then sorry, but I'm probably not the celebrant for you - unless you really want me and we can negotiate a mutually acceptable fee.

Registry weddings and Civil Union ceremonies are another option for those who just want to get the legal bits done and dusted, sign the dotted line, no fuss, small number of guests or none at all, just you and your two witnesses, then I'm available to provide this service for you.  Again, at my home only.

Over the past 25 years I worked as an independent contractor in government, specialising in procurement, events and project management, each requiring excellent listening and writing skills.  Skills that will ensure your ceremony is memorable to you and your guests and is the least stressful part of your day.
