Boutique Country Wedding Venue in Ohariu Valley

Celebrant & Venue Package

If you’re looking for a unique venue for an intimate wedding, or maybe it’s time to renew your vows, or perhaps an elopement ceremony for up to a maximum of  20 - bride and groom, 2 witnesses and 16 guests:  we should talk.

In addition to my wedding celebrant services, I’m now able to offer hosting your personalised wedding ceremony at my home in Ohariu Valley.  This is an optional extra and will incur a separate hire fee.

Located in the beautiful Ohariu Valley, (6 km from Johnsonville)  I offer an outdoor venue that’s peaceful, rural, and modern.  We’re only a 20-minute drive from the centre of Wellington city.  Perfect for those wanting an intimate ceremony away from the city crowds.

Wedding packages (use of my home, and my celebrant services) start at $1,400 and can be tailored to suit your unique wedding experience.  This fee includes your personalised wedding ceremony and the use of my home for 2 hours, but you're welcome to be here  longer at an extra hourly rate.  We can talk about this along with other options, for you and your guests before you all head off for your 'reception lunch or dinner' somewhere else.  This is not a 'Registry Style' wedding, it's a very personalised ceremony where we share your love story with your guests and you speak your words of love for each other.   And I can marry you any day of the week, including weekends.

I also work closely with , for very small wedding parties wanting an elopement type wedding with you two and your two witnesses or up to a maximum of 8 people and you can self-cater.  Think about it - getting married at an old rustic Shepherds Cabin on the cliffs overlooking  Cook Strait - it's an absolutely unique wedding experience.

Regardless of where you choose to get married, I’d love to be involved and to be the one to say “I now pronounce you married’ or whatever words you want.

Please get in touch and let’s work together to make your day extra special, all about both of you in the delightful Ohariu Valley countryside.
